Posted: Thursday, August 17, 2017
Issue 1 of MARINAzine, the MARINA H2020 project newsletter was published in July. Titled Our engagement with the Ocean” it will be published three times a year and aims to deepen the analysis of one of the six dimensions of Responsible Research and Innovation when applied to marine and maritime issues.
The EU MARINA project, funded under the European Research and Innovation funding programme Horizon 2020, aims to integrate citizens’ visions, needs and desires into science and innovation, promoting Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) focusing on marine issues and pressures that have significant effects on the European societies. RRI is a new approach to science whereby you can effectively make your voice heard in the whole research and innovation process and share your ideas with those that develop new solutions.
The project has 13 partners spread across the EU. Further details can be found on the project website www.marinaproject.eu.
Each issue of the Newsletter will be developed and compiled with contributions from the MARINA Consortium Partners and relevant stakeholders.
